In 2019, I envisioned a new journey to pursue the office of the people of Apex. Thanks to you, the vision became a reality and I jumped into my new assignment as Mayor of our amazing community. Serving my hometown for the last 3.5 years as mayor in addition to serving as a police officer at Apex Police Department for 29 years, has provided me with endless opportunities to implement problem based solutions through building solid community relationships and navigating through some unprecedented challenges. Through it all, we pressed forward together, believing in the best for Apex, and never giving up on each other.
As we continue to build on our success, it’s incumbent that we engage even more community members — ultimately gaining more insight, ideas, and experiences to ensure the Apex of tomorrow is even better than the Apex of today. I believe we can continue to enhance the quality of life for our fellow Apex citizens with compassion while focusing on community, communication and commerce. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to create unique and authentic ways to connect with community members and hearing your concerns — my commitment to represent your voice to develop the best plan forward for Apex remains a priority. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you.

Message from Jacques
Today we are challenged with making sure the Apex of tomorrow is even better than the Apex of today. Quality of life concerns related to town growth, economic development, and family resources are priority in this mission. Many of you have priority concerns such as whether to build another house, cut down another tree, or strengthen our economic opportunities through building more – you are heard. We all have a role in our community to enhance quality living through awareness, education, recreation, cultural resources, efficiency, affordability, and convenience. I can assure this because I have led problem solving initiatives with proven success through building relationships with many citizens and community leaders.
It has been an honor to serve as your mayor. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you. There is nothing we can’t accomplish when we work together. This is Apex! Thank you, and may God continue to bless our amazing town.
